77届奥斯卡无责任猜测

昨天奥斯卡评委会公布了今年的候选名单
于是我们又开始了一年一度的无责任猜测（今年难得有机会看了大多数的热门影片，希望去年只有一个偏差的趋势继续保持）

Performance by an actor in a leading role
Johnny Depp in “Finding Neverland”
（没想到第一个就这么难猜。Don Cheadle在“Hotel Rwanda”表现很好，不过影片本身似乎宣传不够，没什么资本，加上Don又是个黑人——如果你是黑人且想拿小金人，你至少要有Denzel Washington那么NB；“The Aviator”也不错，不过也许是因为第一印象的问题，总觉得Leonardo DiCaprio还太嫩——虽然他多年来一直企图摆脱那个形象；刚说完嫩的，又来了个老的，非常喜欢“Million Dollar Baby”，认为编导都是一流水准，尤其喜欢里面用光的手法，不过Clint Eastwood的表演似乎没什么突破，不足以拿小金人；自从“Ray”首映后，Jamie Foxx这个名字就经常被人跟“Academy Awards”放在一个句子里，不过说这话的大多数都是黑人——没办法，种族就是还有问题；所以最后无奈只好选了Johnny Depp 。Depp也属于那种看起来就不想能拿奖的演员——也许因为太帅了,hehe...不过去年就提名最佳男主角，今年的“Finding Neverland”又是好评如潮，Miramax又全力吹捧，想来他的希望最大吧。）

这次是Popgadget
有这么种USB PC Lock
插上后当你离开机器2米开外它就是自动机或把机器锁上（当然是你随身带一个很小的接收器）
本来没什么
只是个很neat的小东西来保护对电器一无所知的女人们的电脑
但是当我看到popgadget的标题是“Popgadget: Personal Tech for Women”（加上为什么只能保护电脑呢？）
不知为什么就忽然想到了也许可以做一个同样功能的“贞操裤”（我知道“贞操裤”听起来像是给女人专用的东西，在男女平等的21世纪，我们尊重女人的权利，所以也可以弄个“处男裤”之类的东西，反正是一样的东西只是换个名字）
当你离开你的“另一半”多过2米
它可以自动锁上（随身带的接收器可以告诉你是不是有人在企图打开它）
当然你有“需要”的时候
你肯定会离“另一半”少于2米吧（多过2米也可以？你猛...）
hmm...
应该是个不错的主意（说不定无敌BT的Japs已经做出了这东西呢）

What's going on with Apex?

到目前为止大家都应该知道Apex是国内长虹在米国的品牌了吧（就算不知道现在我也告诉你了）
这个品牌继承了国内“物美价廉，超强纠错，什么都读”的DVD机的传统
不但异常便宜
而且非常容易改机
国内拿来的什么碟都通吃（包括DVDR/RW）
甚至现在有了可以读DIVX/XVID的型号
是在米国的中国人民把mm结婚安家/party歌舞升平的必备良品
不曾想今天在Engadget看到这么篇文章
说是Apex已经亏损5亿米刀
总裁也在中国被捕了
sigh...
看来当零件供应商上门收款的时候才知道无利润的倾销是要破产的
不过好歹消费者是占便宜的（纯中国人心理，米国人肯定还想要售后，中国人知道我们的东西虽然便宜，公司虽然是个骗局，但质量还是没问题）
只是不知道以后到哪里去找这么质优价廉的东西（国内大电器厂赶紧再弄个品牌打入米国吧）

Wired的网站有一篇很有意思的文章——The Shadow Internet
看看其中的关键词诸如"The Scene"，"Topsites"等
大家就知道它说的是什么了
大概解释了一下非法文件是如何在网络上传播的（以topsites为首的金字塔传播方式）
采访了一些在“the scene”里面的人（包括一个所谓"double agent"——就是为电影公司工作的且有权访问topsites的人）
用一些release解释了一下制作传播过程（包括Half-Life 2当初被盗）
虽然是“入门级”文章但还是很有意思
对所谓“内幕”有兴趣的同学们可以看看

Meet the Fockers

这大概是04年底唯一一部让我期待的片子
其实Meet the Parents并没有给我留下多少印象
只记得是部还不错的喜剧
之所以对这个续集感兴趣
主要是因为Dustin Hoffman和Barbra Streisand的加盟
在近两个小时几乎不停的笑声后
我知道我刚刚看了04年最好的一部喜剧
编剧导演很不错
节奏掌握得很好
笑料不断（虽然有些很傻的笑料，但只要好笑就行）
表演不用说了
都是老戏油子
Hoffman跟Streisand都圆满完成了任务（也许因为很久见过Barbra Streisand了，不记得她有那么(.)(.)呀...）
就是感觉Robert De Niro好像状态一般（也许因为看过第一集后，感觉他的这种喜剧风格已经见过了，好像这次没有什么创新）
不过就算De Niro一般的表演已经足够了
总体来讲很不错的喜剧
算是我04年推荐的最后一部电影的吧

还有个事
当De Niro说"I don't want a chink in my chain"（大概这个意思）
一开始没注意什么
但是后来好像又听到"chinaman"这个词
不禁心里嘀咕起来了
chink这个词有“阻碍/堵塞”的意思
但同时也是对中国人的一个蔑称（具体不知道怎么翻译，大概就像我们说“洋鬼子”一样吧）
chinaman也是对中国人的蔑称之一（好像当初华工修铁路年代的词，记得姚明刚到NBA的时候，有一次Steve Kerr在电视上解说比赛，说姚明是"chinaman"，后来还不得不发了道歉信）
也许是我想多了/想错了
但觉得应该提一句
让大家自己去判断
